Recycled materials at PRSE 2025: qualities, tracking, supply and sales

Source One and Landbell are doubling the size of their booth at PRSE. The focus of the new exhibition concept is ‘sourcing’, in addition to the area of engineering and plant construction. The reason: trading in specified materials – both in supply and in sales – is proving challenging due to the current market conditions and is therefore one of the primary interests of players in the circular use of plastics. ‘Source One ties together circular economy networks to create value chains,’ says Christian Bollmann, Prokurist and Head of Engineering at Source One. ‘We support the material trading of our partners and customers as a link and, as soon as needed, also through technological solutions.’ On 1 and 2 April, Source One will be exhibiting materials of different specifications and qualities in several showcases in Amsterdam, explaining technical parameters and laboratory analyses, and demonstrating the origin and further tracking options.

Like the Plastics and Recycling Show Europe itself, Source One is delighted with the growing number of visitors – this year at booth E116. In addition to the expanded exhibition space, the new joint booth offers additional space to develop ideas and strategies for a sustainable and profitable circular economy over what has now become a traditional coffee speciality. ‘PRSE is a trade fair for the entire plastics recycling market and thus one of the most important events for personal exchange,’ says Christian Bollmann. ‘We are looking forward to new and existing contacts who want to grow with our holistic business model for energy-efficient plastics recycling.’

In order to be able to serve the currently prevailing market demand for the ecologically and economically attractive trade in recyclates sustainably and in all its aspects, Source One has chosen its integrative, holistic approach. Therefore, the teams of the three Source One core areas of consulting, engineering and sourcing will be fully represented at PRSE 2025. Together, they will answer questions from their booth guests on all aspects of environmental, resource and sustainability management. The dry-mechanical sorting and recycling plant of Source One Plastics serves as a best-practice example. ‘There is no better way to demonstrate how efficiently we can implement ideas for sustainable plastics recycling, both technologically and by actively integrating them into the circular economy, and how we can build companies from the scratch, than by using our planned and implemented sister company,’ says Christian Bollmann. ‘As part of our group of companies, the Source One Plastics plant underscores our one hundred percent commitment to our sustainable technology. ’ Now the whole team is looking forward to attracting more companies to the circular use of plastics in Amsterdam and to integrating them robustly into the circular economy with their sustainable know-how and development expertise.
